Elephant Walk Set for Today in Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Some of the stars of the "Greatest Show on Earth" are expected to arrive in downtown Charleston Tuesday.

The annual Elephant Walk is expected to take place at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. However, organizers say the time could change without notice.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey will present "Built To Amaze" April 24-27 at the Charleston Civic Center. Tickets start at $15.

The annual Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Pachyderm Picnic will kick off the nine show run at the civic center on Thursday. According to a news release, the elephants will be treated to some fruits and vegetables for children of all ages to enjoy.

The 16th Annual Pachyderm Picnic begins at 2 p.m. on the Clendenin Street side of the Charleston Town Center Mall.
