PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man was taken to the hospital Saturday after first responders say he drove his car into the back of a tractor trailer.
It happened about 5:00 p.m., Saturday on Route 35 West about one mile from the I-64 Winfield exit.
First responders say the driver did not brake, causing him to hit the truck. He was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Traffic was stopped for about two hours after the crash, but all lanes are now back open.
The driver of the tractor trailer was not hurt.
It happened about 5:00 p.m., Saturday on Route 35 near the Winfield exit.
911 dispatchers say injuries have been reported, but it's unknown how many people are hurt or the extent of their injuries.
At least two vehicles were involved in the accident -- ending with a car pinned underneath the back of a tractor trailer.
