UPDATE: Elephant Walk in Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The elephants are set to arrive in Charleston a little earlier than expected.

The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey circus will pull into town
along Piedmont Road about 6 p.m Tuesday. The original time was set for 7:30 p.m.

The annual animal walk route is from Piedmont Road to Court Street to Washington Street to Reynolds Street to the back parking lot of the Charleston Civic Center.

The circus kicks off on Wednesday night and continues through the weekend at the Charleston Civic Center.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An annual tradition that turns out to be a real circus will be back in town Tuesday night.

The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey circus will pull into town
along Piedmont Road.

That means you and your family have an up close and personal chance to see the elephants and other animals.

Right now, they are expected to arrive about 7:30 p.m., but that time could change depending on their schedule.

The annual animal walk route is from Piedmont Road to Court Street to Washington Street to Reynolds Street to the back parking lot of the Charleston Civic Center.

The actual circus kicks off on Wednesday night and continues through the weekend at the Charleston Civic Center.
