High Speed Chase Ends in Crash

JACKSON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A high speed chase that stretched three counties ended in a crash in Jackson County, W.Va.

Police tell WSAZ.com Chance Seymour stole a car in Marietta, Ohio early Tuesday morning.

When the Jackson County Sheriff's Department and Ripley Police Department tried to stop him on I-77 in Ripley, they say Seymour kept going.

Spike strips were put down on the road. Police say Seymour dodged the strips, went into the median and flipped over.

Seymour has been charged with fleeing.
