ELKVIEW, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A jeep is stolen two times in the past week. Now, Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies are trying to figure out where it is and what the thieves wanted with it.
When Bill Young went to his son's business Sunday morning, he never expected to find it broken into.
The front door was shattered and the back garage door was completely bent in half.
Young says the thieves knew exactly what they were looking for.
"Absolutely nothing else was touched," Young said. "They had one thing in mind. That's what they came for and that's what they got."
He says they stole a Jeep Wrangler. It was being held at Mitch's Towing in Elkview after being recovered by deputies as stolen earlier this week.
Now, they're looking for it again. "There's more than one who knows who did this. Absolutely," Young said.
Deputies won't say if they're looking for the same person who stole the car the first time.
Until then, Young and his son, Mitch, are left with a big mess to clean up.
"They came through the front door and I think through their stupidity, they couldn't figure out how to get the secured doors open and they proceeded with chains and pulled the door apart," Young said.
Young says the thieves did about $10,000 to $15,000 worth of damage.
He says they are offering a reward for the arrest, conviction, and incarceration of everyone involved.
Multiple agencies are looking over surveillance video. So far, no arrests have been made either time the Jeep was stolen.
