BENTONVILLE, AR (WSAZ) -- A 15-year-old boy from Wayne County, W.Va. is expected to be prosecuted as an adult in connection with the alleged rape of two girls.
According a Northwest Arkansas News Online, the teen from Kenova was arrested by Bentonville Police on June 17.
The teen is charged with three counts of rape, and aggravated assault on a family or household member. The newspaper says the girls are 7 and 11.
According to the paper, the teen admitted to sexually abusing the girls and using a knife to threaten the older girl before allegedly raping her.
Last Thursday, the boy’s bond was set at $50,000. He can return to Wayne County if he makes bond. His next court appearance is set for July 28.
The paper says Bentonville Police became after they received information from the Arkansas State Police.
