HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The clock is ticking when it comes to finding "Mom" a gift this mother's day.
"I do not have it yet. I have totally procrastinated," Eric Dietz said.
Eric's not alone.
"No, not yet," Laura Richmond said. "I always wait until the last minute."
But even if you have waited until the last minute, you still have options.
"We work well with procrastination," Matt Reynolds said. "We're used to the last minute rush. We try to accommodate everyone who walks through the doors."
Reynolds and the folks at Spurlocks Flowers in Huntington are working around the clock. You're pretty much out of luck if you need flowers delivered, but you have through Saturday to stop by and pick up an arrangement.
"Flowers can convey a lot of different emotions," Reynolds said. "So, I really don't think there is anything you can't say when you say it with flowers."
There's also the tried and true gift of taking mom out for dinner, but if you waited until this weekend, you may be out of luck. Many of the most popular restaurants are booked, or could be tough to get into. So, why not try something relaxing.
A recent study by Retailmenot.com shows 18% of moms would love to be pampered for mother's day. At El Hajj in Huntington, you're in luck because they still have gift certificates available to spoil the mom in your life.
"You're too late to come in on Saturday before Mother's Day," Kelsey Waybright said, "but if you're able to purchase a gift certificate, they never expire. You can come in any time."
Waybright says a spa day is the perfect gift for any mother.
"Moms are people who take care of everyone and they neglect themselves," Waybright said. "So, it's nice to go somewhere where they can take care of themselves. They can feel pampered and feel special for a day."
