ST. ALBANS, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man has been arrested for DUI after police say he led them on a chase.

Police say shortly after midnight, Saturday morning, they noticed a blue Chevrolet speeding and crossing over the center line on the Nitro St. Albans bridge.

After police turned on their lights, they say the vehicle failed to pull over.

Instead, police say Famous Marckus Fortson, 28, looked in his rear-view mirror at the patrol bar, and kept speeding and weaving on Route 60.

The chase lasted for another mile and a half until police caught Fortson.

Upon stopping him, police say they smelled alcohol and issued a sobriety test. Forston failed the test with a blood alcohol level of 0.133.
