HAMLIN, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man accused of threatening a cashier and robbing a gas station early Saturday morning is now headed to jail.

Michael James Jeffers Jr., 37, is being charged with robbery.

West Virginia State Police says Jeffers walked into the 7-Eleven in Hamlin about 4:30 a.m. with his hand hidden in his sleeve, and told the cashier "give me all your money or I'll shoot you."

The cashier gave Jeffers the money and Jeffers took off.

Troopers say they found him just before 9:30 a.m. at a house on the lower end of Hamlin where he was arrested.
