Man Dies Following Two-Car Crash

GLEN JEAN, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- One person is dead after a two-car crash.

Troopers in Fayette County tell WSAZ.com that David Smith was driving southbound on Route 19 about 4:00 p.m. Saturday in Glen Jean when he struck another car and flipped several times into the northbound lane.

Smith and another passenger were thrown from the car, according to troopers. Smith was taken to Plateau Medical Center where he died.

The passenger was flown to Charleston Area Medical Center and remains in critical condition.
