CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A Charleston man who had thousands of individually wrapped doses of heroin and cocaine is headed to prison.
The US Attorney's Office in West Virginia says William Charles Landon, IV, 28, of Charleston, was arrested during a traffic stop on I-79 on June 16, 2013.
When investigators searched his vehicle, they found 3,747 individually wrapped doses of heroin and nearly 100 grams of cocaine.
He admitted the drugs belonged to him.
Landon pleaded guilty to a federal charge of possession with intent to distribute heroin and cocaine.
He was sentenced Thursday to nearly five years in prison.
