MAN, W.Va. (AP) -- A Logan County town's new $20,000 electronic sign is a victim of a school rivalry.

Mayor Jim Blevins says vandals spray-painted the sign last week with messages referencing the Chapmanville-Man high school football game on Friday night.

Blevins says he's offering a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

The mayor says he doesn't yet have an estimate of the cost of the damage.

The sign was installed recently but it hasn't yet been wired.
