ST. ALBANS, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two people have been arrested in connection with a homicide investigation in St. Albans.
St. Albans Police tell WSAZ.com, Nancy Lynch was stabbed to death in her home on Jefferson Avenue.
Her body was discovered Sunday night during a welfare check.
During the investigation, police say it was discovered jewelry has been stolen from the home.
Police say Megan Hughes pawned the jewelry that was stolen.
Lynch had two cars and both were missing from her home.
Investigators tell WSAZ.com, they found one of Lynch's car early Wednesday morning.
Police say Timothy Shafer was driving the car when it was stopped in Charleston.
Hughes was in the car with Shafer.
Lynch's other car was found in the Sissonville area.
Hughes has been charged with transferring and receiving stolen property and Shafer has been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.
The investigation into Lynch's death is still underway.
