CULLODEN, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- It was an early wake up-call, Friday morning, at two homes where members of law enforcement suspected drug activity.
The bust happened on Third Street in Culloden.
Inside the homes, Cabell County Sheriff Tom McCommas says they found hundreds of of illegal prescription pills and what they believe to be meth.
Anita Clark along with Dale and Toni Cremeans were all taken into custody.
A two-year-old girl, who was living with the Cremeans' was taken into the care of child protective services.
Clark, according to the sheriff, was the caregiver for her 82-year-old mother who lives next door.
All three were taken to the Western Region Regional Jail. Clark and Dale Cremeans were picked up on a charge of possession with the intent to deliver. Toni Cremeans was picked up for violation of her home confinement. More charges will likely follow.
Cabell County Sheriff Tom McCcomas says that it was tips from residents that heled them make this bust.
He says the investigation took 14 months. He asks that the tips keep on coming and give them plenty of patience.
"We covet and appreciate their information -- it takes time to build a criminal case against individuals," he explained. "Be patient, continue giving us your infromation and I promise you your information is being heard."
The Cabell County Sheriff's Department & SWAT Team, the Huntington Violent Crimes & Drug Task Force, the US Marshal's Cuffed Task Force, the FBI, the West Virginia State Police and the West Virginia National Guard all played a part in the investigation.
