One Man Injured in Downtown Charleston Accident

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man is being treated for some broken bones following an accident in downtown Charleston.

It happened about 1:30 Sunday afternoon at the corner of Clendenin Street and Virginia Street.

Police say the driver of a Chevy SUV ran a red light and hit a Toyota Sequoia -- causing it to flip.

No life-threatening injuries were reported, however police say the man in the Toyota is being treated for broken bones.

No charges are expected to be filed. The road has since reopened.
