KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The driver involved in a rollover crash along Interstate 64 is still recovering in the hospital.
The accident was reported about 9:50 p.m. Tuesday in the eastbound lanes of I-64 near Cross Lanes.
Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies say the person's vehicle went off the road, struck a guardrail and then went over the embankment before coming to a rest in a ditch along New Goff Mountain Road.
The driver was trapped inside the vehicle until emergency crews were able to cut her out.
The woman was taken to Thomas Memorial Hospital for treatment. As of 11:20 a.m. Wednesday, her name or condition have not been released.
The crash is still under investigation, but weather was not a factor.
A woman was hurt when her car went off the eastbound side of Interstate 64 and went onto Goff Mountain Road. The accident was reported just before 10 p.m. Tuesday.
The woman, who had to be freed from the wreckage, was taken to the hospital. She is expected to be OK.
They say it happened after a woman traveling east on Interstate 64 lost control of her car and ended up on Goff Mountain Road.
The woman had to be extricated from the car. She was taken to the hospital, but she's expected to be OK.
The accident was reported just before 10 p.m. Tuesday.
