Boyd Sheriff: Detroit Woman Busted Bringing Drugs to Huntington Dealer

BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Boyd County Sheriff’s Deputies say they arrested a woman who was bringing drugs from Detroit to a dealer in Huntington, W.Va.

Iesha Lewis, 22, was arrested during a traffic stop on I-64 near Cannonsburg Sunday morning.

The Sheriff’s Office says they received information that Lewis was coming through the area with a large supply of narcotics.

Deputies say they seized more than 1,650 Oxycodone pills and more than $60,000 worth of narcotics.

Lewis is charged with trafficking and possession of drugs.

She is being held in the Boyd Detention Center.
