CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- From a victim to a suspect, police say a man stabbed in the back in Charleston will soon be charged.
Detectives tell WSAZ.com Jeffery Brock was beating and choking his girlfriend and she stabbed him twice.
It happened in the 400 block of Randolph Street on the city's West Side.
Police say the girlfriend acted in self defense. Brock will charged with domestic battery.
Brock is still in serious condition at CAMC General.

The stabbing was reported about 3:50 a.m. on Randolph Street in Charleston.
Dispatchers say the man who was stabbed is now in the hospital.
Charleston Police are investigating. There's no word yet on any arrests.
