HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The driver of a semi found out Friday morning that his truck was too tall for a Huntington viaduct.
As a result, the 20th Street viaduct is closed to traffic. The accident happened just after 8:30 Friday morning. The trailer on the semi collapsed after hitting the top of the viaduct.
The semi is carrying some 42,000 pounds of cargo that will have to be off-loaded before the truck can be moved.
The driver was heading south on 20th Street when he got stuck.
No word on when the viaduct will reopen.
