CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man has been charged with making terrorists acts after police say he called a doctor's office in Charleston and made threats.

Police tell, John Curtis Dawson called Doctor Leanne Skaff's office on Friday. The doctor is related to state Delegate Doug Skaff.

Police say Dawson was screaming about Doug running for governor and that he would not allow him to take office.

Dawson also said he was going to bring a gun to the office and threatened an employee, according to the complaint.

The office was put on lockdown until Dawson was arrested. Sources tell Dawson was a patient at that doctor's office.

Doug Skaff has never made any public comments about running for governor.
