Two Arrested After Police Discover Mobile Meth Lab

DUNBAR, W.Va. (WSAZ) --Two men have been arrested on charges of operating or attempting to operate a meth lab.

Tuesday evening, Dunbar Police were led to Johnie Mason IV and Jason Edward McClanahan after authorities received tips about suspicious activity in the camper the two were driving.

Police tell after noticing the license plate was registered to a different vehicle, Dunbar Police made a traffic stop. Shortly after, they discovered meth making materials inside the camper.

It happened on Roxalana Road near Marks Road in Dunbar.

Neighbor Teresa Dent watched the arrest unfold and said when she spotted the camper pulled over, she suspected drugs were involved.

“You look at it and think, well I wonder what they’re pulling that kind of vehicle over for,” Dent said. “With all the meth going on these days, that's the first thing that comes to your mind.”
