Two Arrested in Boone County Drug Bust

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two people are behind bars after a major drug bust in Boone County.

West Virginia State Police tell they stopped a car on Corridor G near Six Mile Road on Tuesday.

Inside they found a large amount of cocaine and a gun.

Keith McCloud, of Chapmanville, and Corey Sherod, of Charleston, were arrested and taken to the Southwestern Regional Jail.

State Police say they also had foot powder with them that McCloud and Sherod planned to sell as cocaine.
