UPDATE: Fugitive Arrested on Meth Charges

PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man who had been on the run from police has turned himself in.

Michael Holliday turned himself in at the West Virginia State Police detachment in Winfield, Monday afternoon.

Holliday has been wanted by police for more than a week on meth charges.

Two others were arrested in the case back on August 22.

Holliday will be arraigned Monday night.

HURRICANE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two people were arrested in connection with a meth bust in Putnam County and deputies are still searching for a third suspect.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Department was executing a search warrant on Tuesday at a house in Hurricane.

According to the criminal complaint, Christopher Coyner and Misty Meadows showed up.

They were both detained and searched.

Deputies say they found a white powder that appeared to be meth in Coyner's wallet.

They also found meth making materials in his truck and at the house.

According to the criminal complaint, Coyner and Meadows told deputies they would trade boxes of Pseudoephedrine to Michael Holliday and Holliday would use it to make meth.

Coyner and Meadows have been charged with attempting to operate a meth lab.

Deputies are still trying to track down Holliday. When he is arrested, he will be charged with Operate or attempt to operate a Clandestine Drug Lab, Exposure of Children to Meth Manufacturing, and Possession of Pseudoephedrine.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office confirms that Coyner is an employee of Putnam County Schools. According to the West Virginia Department of Education's website, Coyner is a roofing/sheet metal mechanic in the system.
