Two Charged for Intoxicated School Bus Ride
NICHOLAS COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- It's not easy to mistake a school bus for a taxi, but that's what happened Thursday morning in Craigsville.
Bryan Johnson, 21, of Tioga, W.Va., and Ayla Hodges, 19, of Tioga, W.Va., are being charged with disturbance of school, trespassing and public intoxication.
According to a release from the Nicholas County Sheriff's Department, Johnson and Hodges were picked up by a Nicholas County school bus on Tioga Road in Craigsville about 7:30 a.m. Thursday. The two were then dropped off at Richwood Middle School where deputies were waiting.
Johnson and Hodges were both drunk when they got on the bus.
The incident is currently being investigated by the Nicholas County Sheriff's Department and the Nicholas County School Board.
