CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The Powerball Jackpot is up to $400M for Wednesday's drawing, but some newspaper employees have already claimed quite a hefty prize.

Lisa Stadelman and Diana Slone, of Beckley, along with 25 of their co-workers will share a $1M after they matched five numbers in the February 8 Powerball drawing. However, they didn't match the Powerball.

The group goes by "The Beckley 27."

Stadelman and Slone were the only two who came to a news conference at the West Virginia Lottery Headquarters in Charleston on Tuesday.

The ticket was purchased in Beckley.

The group works at the Beckley Register-Herald.

Each of the 27 people received a check worth $27,370.

The group says none of them plan to retire on their new fortune, but they are hoping their luck will continue. The group plans to keep playing.
