Two Women Arrested on Drug Charges at Huntington-Area Motel

HUNTINGTON W.Va. (WSAZ) – A fight between two women leads to both being arrested on drugs charges.

W.Va. State Police say the women, from Michigan and Ohio, were arrested at motel in the 3300 block of U.S. 60 in Huntington Wednesday evening.

Troopers say they discovered the drugs while investigating the fight.

Ambria Johnson, 22, of Toledo, Ohio, is charged with seven counts of possession with intent to delver, while Tonna Figures, 23, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, is charged with one count of possession with intent to delver.

According to the criminal complaint, the women told troopers they came to Huntington from Detroit.

Troopers say they found 911 oxycodone pills, more than $1500 in cash, and 6 grams of marijuana concealed in Johnson's clothing.

On Figures, they found marijuana, and more than $500 in cash.

Investigators say the pills have a street value with a street value of nearly $9,000

Troopers say they were forced to pepper spray Johnson when she resisted being arrested.

She is also charged with misdemeanor obstructing and battery.

Both women remain the Western Regional Jail.
