Woman Placed in Handcuffs after Head-On Collision

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A woman was taken into custody Wednesday night after a head-on collision on MacCorkle Avenue near 29th Street in Kanawha City, police say.

The woman was under the influence at the time and had a child and a dog in her car.

There was no word on any injuries.

The accident was reported about 8 p.m. Wednesday.
