LEXINGTON, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A doctor from Florida has been charged with conspiracy to distribute drugs in Eastern Kentucky. According to a statement from the US Attorney's office, Dr Roger Brown of Hollywood, Florida was indicted by a federal grand jury in Lexington, Kentucky.

Brown is accused of prescribing drugs for eventual street sale in several Eastern Kentucky counties including Boyd, Carter, Greenup, Rown and Elliott.

Dr. Brown's next court hearing is scheduled for April 21st. Brown practiced at Americare Health Care Clinic in Coral Springs, Florida.
