PIKEVILLE, KY (WSAZ)--A Salyersville, KY man has died in an ATV accident.

Kentucky State Police say 51-year old David Stephens died in the accident.

It happened along Big Pricy Creek Road in Salyersville Sunday evening.

KSP say Stephens died of severe head injuries after losing control of the ATV and crashing.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
