PIKEVILLE, KY (WSAZ)—A man from Belfry, Kentucky has been killed in a traffic accident.

Kentucky State Police say 34-year old Jack Stacy was driving on KY 319 near Hardy in Pike County when he crossed the center line and slammed into an oncoming pickup truck.

Stacy was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released.

The fatal crash happened about 7:15 Tuesday morning.
