VAN LEAR, Ky (WSAZ) -- A man is charged with stealing a knife at a gas station in Floyd County, then driving to Johnson County and stabbing another man with it.

Jeffery Hunter is accused of stabbing Robert Delong.

Delong was flown to St. Mary's Medical Center with multiple stab wounds.

Police say Hunter and Delong were in an ongoing dispute. Jeffery Hunter was arrested in Van Lear. He's currently in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center. Police say theft charges are pending.
