FLOYD COUNTY, KY (WSAZ)--The search continues for the man police say robbed a Floyd County bank.

The man, believed to be armed with a gun, walked into the Citizens National Bank in Garrett around one Wednesday afternoon

He is considered armed and dangerous after troopers say he threatened to shoot a teller if she did not give him the money.

In surveillance photos from the Citizen's National Bank in Floyd County, you can see a man wearing a blue shirt, jeans, and a hat entering the bank. Troopers say the man gave a teller a note with clear instructions to give him the cash or she was going to get hurt.

"Made a threat if she didn't do what he told her to do, then he would harm her. She thought it was unreal at first. She didn't think it was an actual robbery, then he made a statement to her 'don't make me shoot you'," said Detective Mike Goble with the Kentucky State Police.

Trooperssay the man walked out of the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

If you have any information in this case, you are asked to call police.

Citizens National Bank is offering a $5,000 reward on information leading the arrest of the robbery suspect.
