HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ)— Three people are under arrest after WV State Police say they tried to rob a Cabell County restaurant.
Troopers say they were called to the Gino’s Express on Route 60 after getting a call about a suspicious person and possible armed robbery.
Troopers arrest 20-year old Brandon Fletcher of Genoa, WV after a brief foot chase and a struggle with troopers.
30-year old Jody Bragg of Chesapeake, Ohio and a 17-year old female from Huntington were also arrested.
Investigators say upon arriving at the Gino's, Fletcher entered the business and told employees he had a 9mm handgun and they needed to give him everything.
Fletcher was arrested and charged with armed robbery, obstructing, battery on a police officer, and fleeing.
Bragg was arrested and charged with armed robbery, obstructing, possession of a stolen vehicle, hit and run, and leaving the scene of an accident.
The female juvenile was also charged with armed robbery.
Troopers also recovered a stolen vehicle.
