HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ)— Three people are under arrest after WV State Police say they tried to rob a Cabell County restaurant.

Troopers say they were called to the Gino’s Express on Route 60 after getting a call about a suspicious person and possible armed robbery.

Troopers arrest 20-year old Brandon Fletcher of Genoa, WV after a brief foot chase and a struggle with troopers.

30-year old Jody Bragg of Chesapeake, Ohio and a 17-year old female from Huntington were also arrested.

Investigators say upon arriving at the Gino's, Fletcher entered the business and told employees he had a 9mm handgun and they needed to give him everything.

Fletcher was arrested and charged with armed robbery, obstructing, battery on a police officer, and fleeing.

Bragg was arrested and charged with armed robbery, obstructing, possession of a stolen vehicle, hit and run, and leaving the scene of an accident.

The female juvenile was also charged with armed robbery.

Troopers also recovered a stolen vehicle.

To Brandon's friend on Jul 10. Number one you don't know what you are talking about. The 15 year old is always with her family. If you don't have children don't tell her family how to raise her.I don't understand why you are bashing the 15yr old she has nothing to do with the situation at hand.Her parents could get you for slander on the 15 yr olds character.

Brandon is a GREAT guy!That NASTY Jody pill head had all to do with this!She druged Brandon and it hyped him up for him to do this!I blame her...although he could have walked away....Brandon was at my house 3days before this happened and wouldnt even shoot my dads gun....lol...They should let Brandon go...and for the person that said Brandon should be in jail for getting that 15 year old preg..is bullcrap....she laid down and spend them...so dont blame only Brandon..her parents should had her home....Brandon is NOT a bad person he was just around the wrong crowd...and i think its bullcrap that the 17year old in this is already out..because her mommy narked and they let her go...and the 17 year old's brother was seeing Jody...LET BRANDON GO!!!!!(I LOVE YOU BRANDON)

i second what just a person said on july 2nd. i used to be really close to brandon and i know alot of stuff that people don't. i just hope that he doesn't try any thing else stupid like this again. i am so hearbroken over this and i hope that he is ok. ill miss him alot

to brandon and his family i pray for you and wish you all the best,i truly believe if you hang with the wrong crowd,you will do just what they do,i hope this will be a good lesson to all brandons friends,iam around some of these kids alot and i always talk to them about things like this,sometimes they call me dr phil.lol.god be with brandon and his family and even the other ones who was with him. signed worried about brandon in genoa.

First of all just because a person may be held back in school does not put a stamp on his forhead saying "future armed robber"..geeze (a teacher here)...and just because he is 18, 19 or 20 does not make him an adult. Yes he will be tried as an adult but age does not always make one an adult. Yes he has a baby (he is not the first and he won't be the last). He is a young man with problems that probably a lot of us will never know about or ever be involved with. Don't judge until you have raised kids of your own. It all becomes a reality then. I hope that he learns more than one lesson from all of this. I hope that his choices might be more mature the next time. I hope that he takes this heavy responsibility and learns from it. I would hope that Brandon will show a lot more responsibility in his selection of people and friends. And last let's hope that drugs don't take over his life. To Brandon and his family I wish you all the best.

I know that 19 is still technically young, but what a lot of people are missing here is that Brandon made two wrong decisions. No one forced him to take drugs and no one forced him to rob the place. It does not matter about Brandon's past, he committed the crime now he has to deal with the consequences.

Business owners should start arming themselves and need to blow away armed robbers. Maybe that would send a message "Don't Mess with Us!" Robbery is not vindicated in ANY circumstance. I don't care how much money you have or how much you need! If you come into my business with a firearm attempting to rob me, you're going to "speak to my little friend."

Brandon isn't 20. Yes, he's old enough to know better but brandon has never done anything this bad. He wasn't one to hurt people or use the kinda drugs he did that night. Yea, he's made mistakes but everyone does. Brandon was an overall good kid.

I do feel for his parents.BUT, Brandon is a grown man and does know better, this is no joking matter!He should be givin the largest sentence allowed by the law. If there is any justice for the people that thay robbed and put thought this. His family needs to quit making excuses for him,its not anyones fault but his. This is not his first time stealing,just the time he got caught. Everyone says he has no respect for anyone not even his family. It is sad and I do hate it for his family.But anyone that know him should not be shocked by this!

I think it is ridiculous the way people are bashing Brandon!!!!People are forgetting this is someones son that made a mistake with the influence of a older person who should have been trying to help him instead of getting him in more trouble...Its not kids now a days being a bad influence on other kids it is the adults in their lives being the bad influence. You are not the reason he robbed. You didn't twist his arm. He was old enough to know right from wrong. He made that choice not you. Hang in there, don't give up. Take a plea and you will be fine. TO THOSE PUTTING JODY DOWN: I have been offered hard drugs and I stood and said NO, I made the right choice unlike your brother, friend, etc. like Brandon......

I am so sorry for Brandon's Parents.And, I hate that it came to this with Beandon. My grandson used to play football with him. He has been in my home many times, and it is hard to imagine him doing something like this.My prayers are with his family.

i am in complete shock, brandon is one of my good friends and i would have never expected this from brandon. i guess drugs can have a bad influence on people, because brandon was the type of of guy that wouldnt hurt a fly. hed make mistakes but nothing like this. the jody chick had influence on the other two cause this is her second offense of armed robbery. i feel for the two but not jody...i hope they learn their lesson though....

Brandon's age is correct. He started kindergarten with me and was held back, more than once I believe. He's always been a trouble maker with no real respect for anyone, but like others have mentioned his parents are honest to God good people. His actions should not be reflected on them or the people in his community.

i went to school with brandon. Kids these days do things like this because they see other people get away with things like this. they need to be severley punished to teach them a lesson. they will never learn by getting smaked on the wrist and let go

Wayy to go State police!!! Brandon was never really all there. I've known him for years, I went to school with him. I'm not really shocked. He has a new baby with a child. He should be in jail anyways. I'm sure his parents are proud.

I am really in shock! I know him and his family...and I truly feel sorry for his parents and siblings! They are wonderful people, always nice and sweet. This is no ones fault but Brandon's. Love and Prayers to the Fletcher Family....
