GRAYSON, Ky (WSAZ)—Hundreds of motorcyclists have arrived in Grayson.

They are taking part in Kyle Petty’s annual charity ride.

The goal of ride is to raise awareness and funds for the Victory Junction Gang camp.

NASCAR driver Kyle Petty founded the ride 14 years ago.

The riders made a fuel stop at the Pilot Travel Center around 10am.

The cross country ride began in Traverse, Michigan and ends in Savannah, Ga. later this week.

Besides Petty, a number of celebrities annually take part in the ride.

I thought they said Tom Petty. He had a puzzled look when I asked him to sing Free Fallin'.

I was one the lucky ones that got to meet Kyle Petty and get his autograph and my picture took with him this morning.

We were at the Pilot in Grayson this morning for the Kyle Petty ride. This is truly remarkable thing that these people do for the children of Victory Junction. If you don't already give to them you should think about it. No matter how much money or how much you don't have all of these children are treated to a camp that lets them be all they can be regardless of their disabilities. This makes dreams come true.
