PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A Kentucky State Police Trooper is off the job following his arrest Sunday night.
A KSP spokesperson says Trooper Timothy Moore has been suspended with pay pending the outcome of an internal investigation, and the outcome a criminal investigation initiated by the Pikeville Police Department.
Kentucky State Police have not released information about the incident, but published reports say that Moore was arrested by Pikeville Police and charged with alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was later released on bond from the Pike County Detention Center.
The report indicates the arrest followed a concert at the Eastern Kentucky Exposition Center.
Court records show Moore’s next court appearance is set for August 5 in Pike County District Court.
Moore has been with the Kentucky State Police for 10 years. He is currently assigned to the Ashland Post.
