NEW YORK (AP) - Oklahoma remains at the top of the The Associated Press Top 25 college football poll.

Oklahoma is Number 1 with 51 first-place votes and 1,608 points, gaining a few points and top votes in its second week on top of the rankings this season.

Alabama is Number 2, and Missouri moves up one spot to third after winning 52-17 at Nebraska.

LSU drops a spot to Number 4 after an off week, and Texas remains fifth. The Longhorns and Sooners meet Saturday in the annual Red River Rivalry in Dallas.

Number 6 Penn State and seventh-ranked Texas Tech hold their spots. Number 8 Southern California and 9th-ranked BYU flip-flopped after USC's easy 44-10 victory against Oregon.

Oklahoma State moved up to Number 17 after a 56-28 defeat of Texas A&M.
