Well, I would just like to say that if we are allowed to have an opinion of people then I am just stating mine. Just because I do not agree that she should be locked away forever does not make me a bad person. How would you feel if you were in her shoes? What if she was your "perfect" son or daughter? Would you be defending her then or still saying lock her away forever. None of you truly know this girl as an individual...and therefore could not begin to know of the events and circumstances that led up to this horrible event. I understand she placed her child in danger, but if she had left him at home she would have been facing abadonment charges...If you have always made the best decision 100% of the time then go ahead and judge her, but I know that NO ONE in this world is perfect...one sin is not better than another. This young girl will have to suffer enough knowing what she did was wrong, and living with the fact that she can't see her kids because of a stupid choice she made.

No Kim, it is God's job to be her ultimate judge for eternity. His word tells us we will know people by the fruits they bear. We don't have to guess whether or not what she done was wrong! "Judge not lest ye also be judged" is the most misused scripture reference in the world. It has never meant we are not entitled to an opinion. It means we are not to assume the place of God as their final judge. In that context, we have every right (and responsibility) to point out the wrongs of others for the purpose of correction, not condemnation. There are moral absolutes, whether you want to admit it or not.

I have read the comments and its amazing, how some one could defend her after she ENDANGERED THE LIFE OF AN INNOCENT BABY, yeah she may have been a good person, yeah she made bad choice, but look at the picture (mugshot)she is smiling like nothing is wrong like she didnt do anything wrong geeze. If she needed help why didnt you all try to help her? I know good people who are in jail now that I never thought would be there, just goes to prove that the person you think you know is what they want you to see not who they really are, May god bless this child, bless the family, and may god have mercy on her.
