JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- It was a scary morning for one gas station clerk. She says she was robbed by a man with a knife.

Police in Paintsville say it happened just before six Sunday morning in Johnson County.

Investigators say a man walked into the Chevron station with a knife and demanded cash. He was able to get some cash before he ran from the store.

Police say they are looking for a man who is between 5 foot 10 and 6 feet tall. He weighs between 140 and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green Carhartt jacket, blue jeans, work boots and an orange sweathshirt under his coat.

If you have any information you are urged to call Paintsville Police.
