A boil water advisory has been issued for Greenup Water Department customers.

GREENUP, Ky (WSAZ) – A boil water advisory has been issued for Greenup Water Department customers.
The water department says storm related power outages have caused low water in tanks, low water pressure or no pressure at all.
Anyone with questions is asked to call the water plant at 606-473-6757.

Once again the notification system by the water company is thoroughly inadequate. I have even called the office to complain and was told they were only required to report the advisory to one news outlet. So if they call WSAZ and you watch WOWK... God help you! Don't these people have to answer to anyone?

This is the 1st I've heard about this boil water advisory, and my family watches the news throughout the day. Good job, Greenup Water!!! Way to keep us safe!
