UPDATE: Monday, 2/1
GREENUP, Ky. (WSAZ) -- There's more trouble for a man who admitted to videotaping girls at a pair of local swimming pools.
James "Kent" Juett was back in a Greenup County courtroom Monday after prosecutors say he violated his plea deal when he showed up
at a school swim meet.
County Attorney, Michel Wilson, says Juett was at a middle school and high school swim meet at Paul Blazer High Shool in Ashland on January 21.
Wilson says that plea deal, which kept Juett out of jail, included conditions that he not be around minors unless he is with an adult, to stay away from schools and to avoid pools.
Back in August, Juett pleaded gulty to trespassing and disorderly conduct in connection with incidents at two Greenup County pools where investigators say he was videotaping young girls.
Monday in Greenup County District Court, a judge ordered Juett to home confinement until he returns to court in two weeks. He could face additional charges and/or sanctions in relation to his appearance at the swim meet.
Juett’s original plea deal also included home confinement.
UPDATE: Tuesday, 8/18
GREENUP, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A plea deal for a man who admitted to videotaping girls at two pools, means he won't go to jail.
Kent Juett pleaded guilty to charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct.
Juett was arrested earlier this year after investigators say he videotaped young girls at two pools in Greenup County, Kentucky.
As part of his plea agreement, Juett was sentenced to a year of home confinement and can only leave his house for church or doctors appointments if he is accompanied by a family member.
He also can't use a computer or photography equipment and can't have contact with anyone under the age of 18.
If he violates those terms, Juett could end up in jail.
UPDATE: Wednesday, 7/1
GREENUP, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A man who authorities say was videotaping children at local pools was in court Wednesday morning.
James "Kent" Juett was arraigned on trespassing and disorderly conduct charges involving incidents at two pools in Greenup County.
Courts documents indicate the trespassing charge happened at the Tranqilan Pool in Flatwoods in June; while the disorderly conduct charge is the result of an incident at the Greenbo Park Pool, which was also in June.
In the Greenbo incident, officers say they watched video from a camera they found in his car that showed close-up images of various body parts of young girls at the pool.
The same report also indicates the Juett was banned from the Flatwoods pool for talking to young girls, and asking them if they wanted to model for him.
Juett is being held in the Greenup County Detention Center. He won't be allowed near children or local swimming pools if he makes bond.
Warning signs have bee posted at pools in eastern Kentucky, according to Greenup County Attorney Mike Wilson.
Juett is expected back in court on June 8.
ORIGINAL STORY: June 24
GREENUP COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A man accused of videotaping children at local pools was arrested Wednesday in Greenup County.
Police charged James Juett with trespassing and disorderly conduct.
If released on bond, Juett isn't allowed near swimming pools where children are present. Local pools in eastern Kentucky have been notified.
Workers at the Tranquilan private pool said Juett wanted to talk to a female lifeguard and let her model for gifts. Police said Juett had done similar things at several pools in the county.
He was arrested for trespassing at a pool when police found indecent video clips of pre-teen girls taken from a camcorder Juett was said to be using. Greenup County Attorney Mike Wilson said it was focused toward inappropriate areas of the girls' bodies.
Wilson is signing warning letters and posting them at local and private pools in the Greenup area, mainly as a precaution should Juett be released on bond.
Juett was being held in the Greenup County Detention Center. He'll appear in court in the next two weeks.

I life guarded at the pool in which this man was arrested. He is a sick individual! As some one who saw the videos and witnessed how he was talking to these young people and my female coworkers I say throw the book at this guy! Maybe lock him up and lose the key. I wouldnt lose any sleep over it thats for sure.
You people blaming the kids for this sick pervert need your head examined. If your young daughters were swimming around in full length dresses this perv would be filming their ankles. Wake up fools !!!!
I am sure "son of sam" Ted Bundy and others had mental issues also. Does something really bad have to happen before they lock this freak up?
