Fatal Accident on Industrial Parkway, Name Released
One person has died in an accident on the Industrial Parkway in Greenup County near the Carter County line.

GREENUP COUNTY, Ky (WSAZ) -- One person has died in an accident on the Industrial Parkway in Greenup County near the Carter County line.
State Police say Jonathon A Hickerson, 26, of Flemingsburg, Kentucky was traveling south on KY 67 when he crossed the center line and collided head on with a commercial truck. Hickerson was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 26. Investigators say he wasn't wearing a seat belt. The driver of the other truck was not injured.
The accident happened around 5:20 Friday morning. The Parkway was closed for five and a half hours Friday morning. It opened back shortly after 11 a.m..

I am/was Jons cousin and we will all miss him.....He was a good man loving father and a big brother (I mean Big....) but he was so gentile and a great friend ...... I would like to thank all who are prrayin for the family and may god bless us all

I may not know this Jon guy. But may all of my hopes and prayers be with his family and friends. Think about it Jon was a father, a son, a cousin, a nephew, a grandson. But just remember he's in a better place now.
