There have been plenty of tips and leads, but nothing concrete when it comes to finding a missing Portsmouth woman, who is due to deliver a baby any day now.

We told you last month about the “where's Amber” signs still posted on business marquees throughout Portsmouth.

Police say 21-year-old Amber Nicole Howard was last seen getting into a car August 10. Her family says she is now more than 8 months pregnant.

Investigators say they find it hard to believe Amber would just flee her home. With fliers, APB's and news stories like ours covering the region, detectives say they've been checking out plenty of tips and leads.

The detective says no tip or lead is too small to investigate. If you know anything about Amber Howard’s disappearance, contact the Portsmouth Police Department.

I AM SO GLAD FOR HER FAMILY NOW MAYBE THEY CAN REST AND HAVE A LITTLE PEASE OF MIND THANK TO THE PORSTMOUTH PEACE FOR A JOB WELL DONE EVEN THROW IT TOOK A LONG TIME, I HAD A BROTHER TO GET KILLED AND WE HAD TO FIND HIM ARE SLEF SO I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT MY PRAYS GOSE OUT FOR AMBER FAMILY

I think that if the scioto county sheriffs department would search then they could possibly find out where the wonderful girl Amber Howard is at..and they wouldnt have her family wondering and worring 24/7 cause it causes problems, im sure her family would appreciate it if the law would do what they say they would do when they really dont.. the Police are messed up anyways... but love and prayers to the loved ones of Amber Howards family.

I don't mean to be insensitive, but, People go missing every day all over the world so what makes one person so special to get this much media attention? I wish people would be this involved in trying to find others. Maybe then we would not have so many missing person reports.

If the police of portsmouth Ohio was so concerd as they say they are.The people walking the streets and husling there drug and putting there girlfriends on the streets would be in jail.Something this tragick has to happen,for portsmouth police to do something then god help us all!She has been gone for almost 4 months and not enough info has been givin to find her!somebody knows something!They need to speek up.Ambers family is going crazy.We need help.The police is workin but the real story is out there...the people from the streets could do more...There is lots of Ambers friends and family out there more than i could name...What we need to do is all of us not just 10 or 20 get togeather for a search we need to get together and find her if th police cant find the truth im sure we could because i myself and the rest of her family and her friends is not scared to woop some a** to find the trueth!! Its sad that it would have to come to that but im part of her family and we want some anwer!!

I am sorry to her that she is missing but people do say things to police and it may never always be true. It is had to investigate something like this when you don't have the right information. People always tells someone something and that someone could say it a different way to someone else.

how about putting the picture of the missing girl's face instead of a picture of some t-shirt with her name on it!
