COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSAZ)--The Ohio State Fire Marshal Office says a Scioto County man has been indicted on three counts of arson for his involvement in three vacant house fires in Wheelersburg.

According to a press releases investigators say 24-year old Christopher Lockhart made statements to investigators that implicated him in the April 10 fires that that damaged three neighboring homes on Marne Avenue.

Investigators say information from the scene, including the fact that one home had no utility service, led them to the arson ruling.

A firefighter sustained minor injuries while battling those fires.
