PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A Portsmouth woman is dead after a one vehicle crash Wednesday in Scioto County.

According to the Ohio Highway Patrol, 49-year-old Donna Davis was driving on State Route 73 when she lost control of the car, hit an embankment and rolled over.

Davis was pronounced dead at the scene. She was wearing a seat belt.

The crash happened about 12:15 p.m.

I am so sorry Amber for your loss. I was Myra and Mike's neighbor and we played together when we were kids. I will keep your family in my prayers. I know Betty is really sick, too. I will pray for her, too. I know you and your mom were very close. I will try to find when and where the funeral is and come. Take care
