To "jack," kids these days do have money to buy drugs. These thug kids these days want these drugs so bad they rob and steal off people and sell their stolen goods to other people for money, therefore, they don't need a job to have money to buy drugs. They steal money of of parents and loved ones. Wake up Jack and smell the coffee, if these kids want money for drugs they'll get it one way or another. You might be their victim next.

with the cost of fuel it seems like they would sit in there cars in various locations of portsmouth(east end-the ville)and bust the real drug dealers.we all know the crack and oxy dealers around here and so does the local law dogs.instaed they joy ride around in a helecopter looking for pot. maybe they are selling 1/2 of what they find.i would not be suprised knowing how corrupt our local law dogs are.by the way,if you have 1200 plants and 900 of them are males then the value dramaticaly decreases.the local dea-hahaha-trys to make themselves look good by giving false amounts on what something is worth.maybe thats what they would charge on the streets.anyway i vote to quit wasting tax dollars on helecopters and atv's,give the portsmouth police and sherrif's department bicycles to drive around portsmouth.three things would happen here.we would save tax dollars, the law would find "real drugs" and the officers would lose some weight.

Who gives a crap. Get the meth heads and the AIDS carrying prostitutes and the "East End Mafia" off the street who cause a bunch of crap every single day. I'm so sick of the tax payers money going towards seizing marijuana plants, especially when they don't even know who is growing it, get real! Pot doesn't even seem like a hard drug anymore compared to the OxyContin and meth and crack and everything else we have on the street, not to mention the low lives that are doing and distributing it all. The law enforcement in this area just like the easy jobs and everybody knows it, like seizing 1200 pot plants that they say they don't know who the owner is. This way they avoid confrontation with an actual person and don't have to deal with an actual dealer or addict to arrest. Way to go Scioto County again for getting another deadbeat dealer off the street. What a joke! Portsmouth is where all the action is but where they seem to avoid - for some reason. Must be AFRAID!

the pot is always found in same area and they arrest no one wonder how that got there the drug dealers living better than people who work the cops just keep busting same pot places but no one is arrested just look who has everything and no job

I guess people will take money to other towns and buy pot. Kids won't get new shoes. Drive the same ole ATVs. Start drinking...cut their own firewood...sell harder drugs...eat low on the hog...quit getting the munchies and spending $300.00 on junk food at 7-11...go to jail and live off taxpayers...go on welfare...find a new girlfriend that hates pot...find a new growing location...and just might have to go to work God forbid.

Not again! What a waste of tax revenue. We pay people to capture plants. What skill.

Posted by: tiffnay on Sep 3, 2008 at 01:58 PM
keep busting them and make sure you watch the kids just as well as the adults. both are bad for habing pot.

IF THE GOVERMENT WOULD TAX IT AND LEGALIZE IT YOU'D NEVER HEAR SUCH THINGS. WE CAN LET DRUNKS HAVE THEIR ALCOHOL AND HURT AND POSSIBLY KILL INNOCENT ONES BUT THE GOV CAN'T LET THIS BE LEGAL. AND IT DONT CAUSE ANY PROBS.

We know...we know.... The law enforcement officers are either selling it themselves or they're all using it. AND...Pot should be legalized...It's one of God's herbs...It's natural...Nobody hurts anybody when they smoke pot..It's not addicting...It's not a 'gateway drug'...on and on and on and on and on... That should about cover it, so I saved you guys a bunch of time didn't I? So go have another bag of Fritos.
