JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Two bodies recently found in Jackson County have resulted in murder investigations.

Police said last Thursday that 65-year-old Wilson Bond was found shot several times in his Mounds Creek home. His death remains a mystery. Police said he was well-liked, lived alone, had no enemies, and nothing seemed missing from his home. Jackson City police are handling that case.

And Jackson County sheriff's investigators said they are narrowing the suspect field in the murder of Jerry Denney Jr. Denney was found dead in his home Sept. 19 after deputies said he was fatally beaten with a claw hammer.

It's sad but I wonder if these murders will be put on the shelves like Michael Brown's did.

this is sad!! I hope the police have the resources they need to solve this. However people can help. If you hear something or know something don't be afraid to pass it along to investigators, its how alot of crimes get solved

I think that the Jackson police are not doing there jobs like they should be doing.People litterally can get away with murder in small towns like Jackson, Wellston, oakhill, vinton, and all the other small towns. They should bring in other investigators from bigger cities like Columbus or New York. How many more murdered people does it take for the Jackson police dept. to really take things seriously.

I know that these maybe related some way or another but I have family that lives and works in Jackson and I worry about them. No one really knows why these murders have happened and it is sad.
