A hunter was reported missing Monday, the first day of deer hunting season in Ohio.

UPDATE: Sheriff Department Dispatchers in Gallia County say the missing hunter was located around 7:30 Tuesday morning.

They say the hunter, Robert Fink of Maumee, Ohio walked up to crews that were preparing to search for him.

Fink is said to be OK.

GALLIA COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A hunter was reported missing Monday, the first day of deer-gun hunting season in Ohio.

The Gallia County Sheriff's Department reported Monday night that an out-of-own hunter went out around 8 a.m. Monday and hasn't been seen since. He went out at the Crown City strip mines near Rocky Fork Road.

Officials with the sheriff's department said the man is 42-years-old and doesn't have any known handicaps.

If any of you have ever been out there hunting or just roming around its not so much of a fun place to be if you dont know the area. Every piece of woods is very deep and steep, easy to get lost if your not out there much. Thank goodness they found him.
