CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- We start in Charleston where doctors at ABC Pediatrics have not seen many swine flu cases.
Strep throat, however, is going around. The contagious bacteria is typically treated with a course of antibiotics. Doctors are mostly seeing kids for their well child visits.
In Ashland, Ky., doctors at Ashland Children's Clinic are still seeing some kids with the flu. They're also reporting bronchitis and upper respiratory infections.
Health care providers at Healthy Habits Wellness Center in Logan, W.Va., have good news to report on the swine flu front -- no flu at that office this week. They are mostly seeing sinus infections and allergies.
In South Shore, Ky., Dr. Steven Keys with Christ's Care Pediatrics says they're seeing a little of everything, but the spread of swine flu seems to have settled because they're not seeing very much of that. They have seen a spike in strep throat the past couple of days.
