Names Released: Car Crashes into Tree, Killing Ohio Man
A man from Ohio was killed Saturday after the car he was riding in went over an embankment and crashed into a tree.

BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Barboursville Police say a 56-year-old man from Proctorville, Ohio was killed in a crash on Route 60 in Barboursville on Saturday.

Chief Mike Coffey tells WSAZ.com that Harvey Hall III was a passenger in the car driven by James Shaver, 60, of Patriot, Ohio.

Coffey says Shaver remains in intensive care at St. Mary's Medical Center.

Investigators have not been able to talk to Shaver about why he lost control and crashed.



ORIGINAL STORY
BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A crash on Route 60 Saturday afternoon sent the driver to the hospital and left his passenger dead.

It happened just after Noon in Barboursville.

Police say that a car heading East somehow lost control and went over an embankment and then hit a tree.

A 56-year-old man was killed in the crash. The 60-year-old driver was taken to the hospital.

Both men were from Lawrence County, Ohio.

The accident is still under investigation.

bo was a really great person even tho i only saw him like 3 or 4 times but him and lee was really good friends to my mom and i saw him on christmas day then the next day my brother told me that he had been killed i couldnt belive it but he will be miss by everyone rip bo u will be miss and god bless his family
