UPDATE 8/31/10 @ 11:25 a.m.
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) -- Morgantown police have issued citations to two West Virginia basketball players on a disorderly conduct charge.

Morgantown Municipal Court Clerk Joyce Marshall said Tuesday that officers cited guards Joe Mazzulla and Dalton Pepper for allegedly urinating in public in downtown Morgantown on Sunday.

Marshall says if the pair contest the citations, they'll face a Nov. 1 court date. Or they can plead guilty and pay fines ranging from $135 to $535.

In a statement, WVU coach Bob Huggins said he was aware of the incident and the matter is being handled internally.

Huggins suspended Mazzulla in April 2009 after the player's second arrest in nine months. Mazzulla pleaded no contest last August to a disorderly conduct charge and was reinstated to the team that month.

And this little mountaineer went weee weee weee all the way home. In all seriousness, I'm sure Huggins is going to suspend them from the nightly cuddle-fests until the season starts. But at least Mazzulla is getting used to being behind bars, it's giving him a nice look into his and the majority of WVU players' futures.
